Cookie policy

The cookies used for your session, age confirmation, cart and saved items, and how to manage them.

1. What cookies do

Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent back to a website. Shishazone uses essential cookies to keep a session working, remember an age declaration and provide shopping features you request. These cookies are separate from any permission for advertising.

2. Essential storefront cookies

  • Session: __Host-session supports account authentication and the secure session. It is a session cookie, without a fixed expiry set by the storefront; your browser’s session-restore behaviour may preserve it.
  • Age confirmation: __Host-shishazone_age_confirmed remembers the 18+ declaration for up to 30 days. It is not proof of identity or age.
  • Cart: __Host-shishazone_cart remembers your cart for up to one year from being set or refreshed. The older cart cookie is cleared when migrated. Cart availability may end before the cookie expires.
  • Guest saved items: __Host-shishazone_anonymous_wishlist stores up to 32 selected variant identifiers for up to one year. Saved selections may be merged into your account when you sign in, after which the guest cookie is updated or cleared.

These cookies use Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite protections. A cookie is only used when its relevant feature is active; not every visitor will receive every cookie. Removing a cookie does not necessarily delete order or account records held by the store.

3. Analytics, advertising and other services

This storefront does not currently run optional analytics or advertising pixels. If optional tracking is introduced, this notice and the required choice controls must be updated before it is activated. Confirming your age is not consent to tracking.

Shopify-hosted checkout and account pages can use additional cookies for their own services. See Shopify’s cookie policy and the controls available on those pages. External WhatsApp and map services apply their own cookie and privacy practices after you open them.

4. Your browser controls

You can inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, cart persistence or saved items from working and may cause the age prompt to reappear. Browser choices apply to that browser and device; you may need to repeat them elsewhere.
